FAQ

DO PARENTS/GUARDIANS/FAMILY MEMBERS OR OTHERS STAY FOR THE EVENT?

No, plans should be made to drop their ambassador off at start of each day and pick them up at each day’s end time. Parents should arrive 10 minutes early and wait in the parking lot to pick up youth.

WHAT WILL I DO?

Have fun while learning! We have some excellent speakers who are bringing new information, resources, and lessons for you to take back to your county!!! Please come ready to learn and move!

WHAT DO I WEAR?

The dress code for this event is casual (yet classy) with comfortable, close-toed shoes. Returning ambassadors are encouraged to wear their HTYA polo on Sunday and all ambassadors will wear their official 2025 HTYA polo on Monday. Please remember that we have professional speakers coming so no athletic or short shorts/skirts or midriff shirts. Nice jeans, shorts, and shirts are appropriate and required!

WHAT DO I BRING?

All returning ambassadors will need to bring their HTYA nametag. First year ambassadors will receive their nametag at check-in and all ambassadors will wear them for the duration of the summit.

WHERE DO I PARK?

So, this year, parking is tricky due to Texas A&M being selected to host the NCAA regional baseball tournament.  We will communicate with you when we have more information, but please make these notes for parking.

Sunday – You should park/drop off in lot 100A at Reed Arena. On Sunday, there is no fee to park.

Monday – You should park in lot 100A at Reed Arena.  Parking permits are available on the TAMU Transportation Website under the Texas 4-H Roundup options.

https://transport2.tamu.edu/account/conference/parkingpermits.aspx

You are encouraged to pre-purchase your permit.

DO I NEED ANY MONEY?

No, all HTYA Super Summit expenses were covered in your pre-paid registration fee.

See you at the Summit!
