Walk Across Texas
To help combat the health consequences of low physical activity, we support people of all ages in establishing the habit of regular exercise.
Walk Across Texas! is an eight-week community program delivered through a web-based platform to help establish the habit of regular physical activity. There are two versions of the program, Walk Across Texas! Adult and Walk Across Texas! Youth, that are open to all ages and abilities. The goal is to virtually travel across Texas by logging and monitoring physical activity as miles walked. Any activity counts, so you can walk at home, garden, run, bike or do your own favorite activity!
The best part is that you don’t have to do this journey alone! Recruit team members to help you along the way and compete against other teams through locally sponsored events.
