Programs to Fit Your Lifestyle

Our programs help remove barriers to good health and empower you to live well where you are.

Diabetes Education

Managing type 2 diabetes is essential to preventing or delaying the numerous health risks associated with the disease, including blindness, heart disease, kidney failure, stroke and loss of toes, feet or legs. For those who have diabetes, or are at risk for it, we provide education and support to help them manage their health for a longer, happier life.

Medication Assistance

Many people cannot afford their medications, and they can’t afford not to. We help those with no insurance or limited prescription coverage get the medications they need for free or almost free so they can manage their chronic diseases and get back to living.

Nutrition Education

To support healthy eating habits that can prevent numerous diseases, we offer multiple nutrition education activities that enable participants to make smarter food choices for their families.

Physical Activity

To help combat the health consequences of low physical activity, we support people of all ages in establishing the habit of regular exercise. The Walk Across Texas program brings together teams and individuals who challenge themselves to complete the 830 miles—the distance from El Paso to Texarkana—in just two months.
